Masters by Research – Built Environment
Hi, I am doing a 2-year MPhil in Socioeconomic studies under School of Built Environment (SOBE). My background is in Agriculture and Rural Development however, crossing disciplines requires discipline, patience and commitment while it is interesting, challenging and complementary. I am experiencing many interesting missed matches fitting in evenly in these two disciplines. My thesis is based on “Customary Land Tenure and Income Securities for farmers in Commodity Cash crops in developing countries”.
I have been here for a year now (June 2016-2017). I am enjoying every bit of my study very much and I am eager to see what the finishing line would bring as my study unfolds!
Available Mentors - Coursework students

Masters by Coursework – Built Environment
I have been a student at Curtin University since 2012, in that time I’ve completed a Bachelor of Architecture and am now completing my Masters in Urban and Regional Planning. In this time, I have participated in some research with former tutors and despite it being a long process, it has been a very exciting one too.
I feel this is both a great school, course and overall faculty to be studying within. I look forward to helping any postgraduate student through their journey and making it as enjoyable as possible.
