Alexey Yurikov

PhD – WA School of Mines

Bentley campus

I’ve being doing a PhD programme in Geophysics at Curtin since June 2015. I am happy to share my experience of studying here and to give some tips how to make a study enjoyable and productive.
My own research relates to Rock Physics and combines both theoretical and experimental work. I believe that the most exciting about doing PhD research is a diversity of tasks one has to deal with and a freedom of choosing which way to push your research.
I realize that first semester of studying might be challenging, that’s why I am looking forward to help new students to start their study without a hitch.
